Common questions

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

It depends on the scope. A cabinet and countertop refresh takes far less time than a full remodel with layout changes. Your written quote includes a completion date before any work starts.

Can I keep using part of my kitchen during the remodel?

Often, yes. We'll talk through what stays usable and plan the work in phases where it makes sense.

What if you find a problem behind the walls?

Hidden conditions like water damage or rot are explained, photographed, and priced before any extra work. Nothing is added without your written approval.

What affects the cost of a kitchen remodel?

The biggest factors are layout changes (moving plumbing, gas lines, or walls costs the most), cabinets (refacing or new, stock or custom), countertop material, electrical and appliance upgrades, and permits. Your written quote lists each part so you can see where the money goes. We also suggest keeping about 10–15% of your quote set aside for anything hidden behind the walls. Nothing extra happens without your written OK.

When should I choose my cabinets and finishes?

Before demo day. Cabinets, tile, and fixtures can take weeks to arrive. Choosing them before we start is the easiest way to keep your finish date.
