Verimont Promise Terms
Our five promises are kept simple on purpose. These are the full conditions behind each one.
1. Guaranteed Completion Date
If we're late for reasons within our control, we'll take $100 off your final invoice for every day we're late, up to 10% of your project price.
The completion date extends by the same number of days for delays caused by change orders, permit or inspection scheduling, weather, material backorders, or site access issues. We'll notify you in writing the same day we learn of any delay, with your updated completion date.
2. Same-Day Response
Call, text, or email us by 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and you'll hear back the same day. Later messages get a reply by noon the next business day.
A response means acknowledging your inquiry and next steps, not resolving the issue the same day. Messages received Sunday get a reply by noon Monday. Applies to all inquiries from clients and prospective clients.
3. Daily Progress Reports
Every day we work on your project, you'll receive progress reports, photos, and updates directly to your phone.
Sent by end of day on days work is performed at your property.
4. No Surprise Charges
The price we quote is the price you pay for the agreed scope. If we find something outside that scope, we'll explain it, price it, and get your approval before doing any extra work.
Your written quote lists your full price and payment terms. Your price covers the work described in your contract and changes only through a change order you approve in writing. Conditions discovered during work (such as hidden water damage, rot, or code issues behind walls) are priced as change orders. If a discovered condition is a safety hazard, we'll stop and contact you right away.
5. Workmanship Guarantee
If a workmanship-related issue occurs within 12 months of completion, we'll inspect it, and if it's our responsibility, we'll repair it at no charge, including materials we supplied.
Excludes normal wear, misuse, damage by others, work altered by someone else after completion, customer-supplied materials, and design choices made against our recommendation. Minor cosmetic changes from normal settling or seasonal movement (such as hairline cracks or caulk separation) are not workmanship defects. Product defects are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and we'll help you file the claim. Report issues in writing within 12 months of completion; we'll inspect within 8 business days.
What a daily update looks like
"Hi [Name], today's update: demo is done and the old tile is out. The subfloor looks solid, no surprises. Tomorrow we start the shower waterproofing. Still on track for [date]."
The same terms are in every Verimont contract.
